Look for whether a stock’s sector shows similar participation rather than relying only on the stock’s own move.
Relative, not absolute
A leading sector can still reverse and a lagging sector can recover. The heatmap is a snapshot, not a forecast.
Practical sequence
Review index context, breadth, sector behaviour, the scanner match and finally the individual chart.
